Free Thanksgiving Dinner buffet from Palmer’s East

,

For anyone who knows me, even though I don't live in Redmond anymore,  Palmer's East is my favorite hang-out spot.

The bartenders are fun and pleasant (at least to me-if you are jerk you will get treated as such!). They food is awesome, especially the Tuesday night 1/2 price burger nights!

Yes, it is a dive bar, but it is sort of like Cheers from the old tv show..everyone knows each other, everyone treats it like it is "their" place and it stays pretty mellow...except for the weekends. The place comes alive after 9pm when Karoake starts (7 nights a week with Big John's Crazy Karoake). Big John is the best karaoke host ever and has a great sense of humor..but not for the faint of heart or easily offended. I have seen some pretty wild things happen on the dance floor on the weekends..(or in other places---ask the couple in the ladies room what happened to their clothes while they were distracted with each other..hey folks there isn't much room in there and people drinking beer need a stall!).

Monday and Tuesday  nights brings some free poker games for those that want to learn to play without spending a fortune and it is fun way to get to meet some new people.

For the past several years, Thomas Wilhite, Owner and proprieter, has offered a fabulous free Thanksgiving feast to anyone in the community who would like to come and share with the Palmer's family.  This year the dinner will start at 7pm on the 26th. All he asks is that you call ahead or stop in and let them know you are coming so that they know how many birds to roast and deep fry....Last year I couldn't get enough of that deep fried bird! If you don't want to cook for yourself, you are alone or just can't afford to host your own shindig, stop in and stuff your belly.
